First of two Make It Shine events in Buckhannon is Saturday, Aug. 13

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — The first of two “Make It Shine” events is Saturday, August 13, 2022 with a second being held next Saturday, August 20, 2022.  Both events are happening at the Buckhannon Transfer Station, 444 Mudlick Road, Buckhannon WV 26201. Hours for each day will be from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

The maximum amount allowed to dump, per customer, is the equivalence of two (2) pickup truck loads.

You must show proof that you are a valid customer with the City of Buckhannon Waste Department, with proper ID, and NOT on a service shutoff list.

Items that use Freon (such as air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and refrigerators) must be tagged and certified by a licensed vendor that the Freon has been removed.

No tires will be accepted.
