2. Do you agree Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative is ramping up India’s manufacturing sector? Please share your view regarding your industry?

Bharat has always been AtmaNirbhar. The self-reliant Bharat movement is a positive step in the direction of substantiating our resolve towards strong and stable manufacturing base in India. With the revolutions happening in the current age, we are becoming a global hub of manufacturing with the decreasing dependency on China. Also, the Russia Ukraine war has brought India to the forefront as the key supplier to the European countries that have given the desired impetus to the manufacturing sector of the country. Given to the rising demand in the global market, it is important that the country manufactures new product designs to meet the expectations of the end customers with regards to quality, zero defects, performance, and all other aspects. Hence, India should now focus on manufacturing highly resilient, quality products to withstand the global competition, for which the government should come up with incentive schemes and subsidies to give a mileage to Indian businesses. In line with this, Bry-Air truly augmented India’s pride in the eyes of the world and has practically become the only Indian player in the HVAC&R industry whose products are equally sought after in the international markets as they are in the Indian market.

3. Tell us something about your export business in terms of revenue shares, products exported and markets catered to.

Given to the various events going on across the globe, India is the emerging global manufacturing hub for the supply of products and services to other countries. We can take the instance of the pandemic where everybody was advised to stay home, as a result, the smooth functioning of the warehouses, data centers, refrigeration, and other similar needs became a necessity. This resulted in increased awareness amongst various Indian and International companies about the need for having a dehumidification system in place.

Similarly, the dependency on plastic also increased during the pandemic more than ever before. From medical plastics to industrial plastic, the industry is seeing a surge in demand from all sectors. Even if you see, the debate around single-use plastic has also taken a back seat. So that is another segment that has generated a huge demand for our business too since we have a huge range of moisture control systems and solutions specially designed for the plastics industry. Given that leading companies in the plastic industry from Europe and North America have partnered with Bry-Air for selling in-line moisture minders is a testimony to our products that are truly world-class and made in India.

The systems have been designed keeping in view various existing parameters such as contaminants’ presence and their concentration, airflow, space availability, and standard legacy systems in the contaminated atmosphere. The wide range of chemical media and macro-porous chemical filters are most suited for the efficient removal of almost all types of harmful contaminants.

9. Journey of the Company so far?

Bry-Air under the leadership of Mr. Pahwa is the fastest-growing Adsorption Technology Group in the world and India respectively. We started very small initially as a sales company in 1979 representing many international companies and then as a joint venture company with Bry-Air Inc. USA in 1981. Since then, we have come a long way. We are financially independent having bought over our JV partner’s equity. In 2006, we acquired the global rights of the name Bry-Air and licensed the use of the name to our erstwhile JV partner in USA for limited use in USA, Canada and Mexico. Today they buy from us their hottest selling equipment, a compact dehumidifier which is designed and manufactured in India. Where in 1979, Mr. Pahwa set up the first company in the group, Arctic India Sales, introducing dehumidification in India, today he has successfully set up Bry-Air (Asia), Desiccant Rotors International (DRI), Delair India and Technical Drying services in the country.

The company focuses on providing dehumidification solutions to various sectors while focusing on energy-smart and green technologies. To stay ahead of the curve, Bry-Air also has a full-fledged R&D center that is recognized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and is undoubtedly one of the finest in the industry.

With over five decades of experience in applications, manufacturing, engineering, and R& D in the field of dehumidification & environment control solutions, the Pahwa Group today efficiently caters to a wide range of industries like pharmaceuticals, food, automotive, chemicals, and many more that have improved efficiencies in production, experienced high energy savings, etc. with the help of world-class solution that is sought after not only in India but have created a niche for itself across the globe.

10 Years in positive journalism, and counting…..

One decade of carrying positive journalism is no less than providing a service to the nation. As a result, the fear of losing the respect of the readers is what prevents us not to be stopping to any publications related to those inspiring personalities on a regulative basis in order to attain inspiration. We believe that we have espoused the cause of positive and developmental journalism with utmost honesty and rigor. Unfazed by the competing media platforms who are obsessed with the TRP game and have no qualms in compromising time honored media ethics, we can safely claim we are out of this mad race for recognition. Rather, we chose the path less trodden. And, that has positioned The Interview Times where you find it today. We chose to play up the stories of those personalities who climbed the success ladder by the dint of their grit and gumption. These were the stories which escaped the wide lens of the big media. That is the narrative which you and I find relatable. And, we count on your support and patronage to keep this tradition running.

Once again, I would like to state that the entire family of Interview Times Media Network is firmly committed to positive journalism in pursuit of making a better society in the days to come. Journalism is a passion for us, not a profession. Let’s celebrate.

In this traumatic pandemic, a thank you note is incomplete without saluting the departed as well as those who lost their loved ones while pursuing journalism selflessly. Hope better days are in the offing with light and rays.

It is therefore asked all of your’s noble donations to sustain the importance of pursuing positive journalism round the year.Lets value it sacredly.
